Privacy Policy

This page explains what Sports Card Metrics (metrics.cards) collects, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. We try to keep this short and plain spoken. If anything here is unclear, email us and we will fix it.
What we collect
We collect two things:
- Your email address, but only if you give it to us through the signup form. We do not ask for a name, phone number, or any other personal info.
- Anonymous usage analytics through Vercel Analytics. These are cookieless pageview counts. They tell us which pages are popular and how fast the site loads. They do not identify you personally and they are not sold or shared.
Cookies
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The site may set a small functional cookie for session state, but nothing that follows you across the web.
Why we collect it
The email list exists so we can tell you when a new set drops, when a parser bug is fixed, or when something big changes on the site. That is the only reason. We will not send you marketing from third parties. We will not sell or rent the list.
How long we keep it
We keep your email until you ask us to remove it. Analytics pageviews are retained by Vercel according to their own retention policy.
How to delete your data
Email zach@metrics.cards and ask. We will remove your address from the list and confirm when it is done. No forms, no waiting period, no friction.
Kids
Sports Card Metrics is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has signed up, email us and we will delete the record.
Third parties
Our only current third-party processors are Vercel (hosting and analytics) and our email storage database. Outbound links to eBay, Topps, and similar sites are standard web links. Those sites have their own privacy policies that we do not control.
Changes
If we change this policy in any meaningful way, we will update the date at the top and, if the change affects you, notify subscribers by email.
